...Mighty, Mighty Worrier....

Well it's been awhile since my last posting, there just seems to not be enough "free-time". Last time I checked in we had no electricity, well after 9 days we did get it back but I am still trying to get caught up on house work. YUCK, I feel so bad for Stan, there seems no end to the broken limbs and trees. He spends all of his free time cutting and moving trees. For a bike rider this is a real heart break. The trails were just destroyed by the ice storm. It will take months to get them clear enough for riding. Of course Lester tries to help by prancing around with broken limbs.

Anyway back to the ...Mighty, Mighty Worrier... title. My wonderful, awesome husband will protect me at all cost. Today when I attempted to go to our bedroom to put away some clean laundry, a mouse greeted me at my door! I screamed "Oh My Gosh" and ran to Stanley who was vacuuming. I told him who I just met. He went to the closet got his B B gun and sat in his chair til the little critter stuck his head out again. Of course when Stan pulled the gun up to his shoulder the mouse ran into my office. Stan goes to the office shuts the door and I hear "pop, pop, pop" then finally he comes out and says "who's your friend now" Well THANK YOU JESUS he got the little booger. I just knew I wasn't going to be able to sleep tonight or any other night until that critter was caught. I just can't stand snakes, spiders and mice!!! My husband gets the "I love you and will protect your award"

I hope all of you are doing well and have a wonderful week. Please say a prayer for me, not only am I working this week at Stan's office, I have been called for Jury Duty this week, a couple of embroidery projects are due and I am going to Little Rockk for the weekend. How am I going to get it all done??? Only by prayer and understanding of my wonderful husband.

No electricity but a day to celebrate

Another day without electricity but what a wonderful day to celebrate! Two of our grand-daughters were baptized today. Stan and I are both so proud of them. It is a day we won't forget. Now more than ever we realize that our little girls are growing up and being a "Christ-like" example for them is so important. Our prayer is that they will want to be like Paw Paw and Nay Nay and always know they can come to us for anything...especially lots of love and hugs.
