Remember 2008 ......

It's hard to believe that another year has come and gone. I am living the "quick-days" my mother and grandmother told me about when I was younger. When you catch yourself saying "one day I am going to .... (what ever)" realize one day will be here before you know it! So live life to its fullest, laugh every chance you get and most importantly love. Love your friends and family today like there is know tomorrow.

Below are a few photos from 2008 that I would like to share. Each of these are special to me but this first one is a photo that I will cherish forever. Not many families are blessed to have a five generation's picture. My grandmother has such a special place in my heart. She gave me the roots for my love of sewing and cooking. Her love for the Lord has always been a very important part of her life and she made sure my sister and I were introduced to Jesus as a young child. Then there is my mother. Oh my gosh if only every girl could have a mother like mine. She is the most unselfish loving person EVER. I have have NEVER heard this woman say anything negative about someone. When I would and have come to her about about an up-setting situation, she finds the positive. Looking for the good not bad is important to her and because of her influence this too is important to me. Next we have my beautiful daughter (she looks like her dad). Not only is she beautiful outside but inside she is just as beautiful. I am so incredibly proud of her. As a child and teenager she was such a joy. I can't even remember having to discipline her much, she was just a good child. If I could have special ordered a daughter from my Lord, she would be exactly what I would have requested. I know I can always depend on her. I love her so much. Lastly we have my grand-daughter ... WOW what a sweetie. I just can't get enough hugs from this little continuous source of energy. She is one of those little girls that tells it like it is (actually I have a couple of grand-daughter's that are talented in this area). Seriously she like her mother is a gift from God. One that I hope I can influence like my grandmother did me.
